Specimen IX: Evolving Sudoku · Last updated 28 October 2026

In short: the game keeps just enough to save your progress, run fair leaderboards and read your feedback. There are no ads, no tracking or analytics, and we never sell or share your information.

Who we are

Specimen IX is made by Sentient Square Games. The rules for playing are in our terms of service. If you have a question about your data, or want it deleted, email info@specimen-ix.com.

What we collect

What's stored on your device

The game uses your browser's local storage for your settings (sound, accessibility, power-up loadout), a copy of your progress, and the sign-in code for your pilot. It doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies.

Who else is involved

Leaderboards

If you save your progress, your callsign and scores can appear on the public leaderboards. Guests never appear there. Choose a callsign that doesn't identify you if you'd rather stay anonymous.

How long we keep it

We keep your pilot and progress for as long as the game is running, so you can come back to it. Feedback is kept until it has been dealt with. If you clear your browser data as a guest, the link to your pilot is lost. Ask us and we'll delete it from the server too.

Your choices

Children

Specimen IX isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you think a child has saved progress with their email address, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
